Digital

I've been escaping into fantasy a lot lately. I'm sure I'm not alone in that! This digital piece of art was a fun venture that was definitely influenced by all the movies, ttrpg games, and books as of late. Some sort of spell or curse surrounds it, making it so pretty and inviting.

Took a more illustrative approach and it helped me breakthrough some creative blocks. This little fox spirit deep in the forest has one of my favorite color palettes I've used so far this year.  

Paintings

Haunted flight is such a fun cryptid piece that I painted in acrylic. There is tissue and modge podge used for the background, making it textured. 

Thought & Memory was created from this idea of two of Odin’s ravens, Huginn and Munnin. Who go out and gather in for him and bring it back. I loved this idea as an artists practice. I pictured these two spirits going out and bringing me new ways to see things, and sharing memories-having that vulnerability in my personal art practice.
