ALEXANDRA M LORD

Oh hey. My name is Alex, I’m an artist that dabbles in acrylics, mixed media, and digital art. I love using more abstract backgrounds and focus on natural subjects that can lean a bit dark, as well as various folklore inspiration and the occasional cute cat. After taking some art classes in northern Minnesota where I’m from, I was inspired to create this online shop. I’m so excited to share my latest works with you! 

Alex is originally from northern Minnesota and has always been inspired by our connection to nature and one another. She is currently a Boulder County based artist that specializes in mixed media, acrylics, and digital styles. The subjects she tends to focus on are: our relationship with death, connection, mythology, magical moments, geometry, and cryptid creatures.

In 2022, after spending time taking classes in Grand Marais, MN Alex decided to take her art more seriously as a part-time artist. She became a member of local art markets and art collectives all around the Denver area. Selling stationery and art prints featuring skulls, nocturnal creatures, and moons. Right now Alex is having fun creating one of a kind celestial pieces and celebrating her 10th anniversary with her wife.
